2. WHAT THIS SERVICE IS

MoveAcrossStates provides a way for you to request contact about moving services and, where available, to request information or a quote. Your submission is a request for contact or a quote; it is not a booking, reservation, or contract for moving services. We do not guarantee that you will receive a quote, any particular price, a response, availability for your requested dates, or service from any particular moving company.

3. WE ARE NOT THE CARRIER

MoveAcrossStates is a marketing and lead-generation landing page, not a moving company or motor carrier. The operator of this website does not itself transport, pack, load, store, or deliver your property. The operator is not responsible for the acts, omissions, representations, rates, schedules, property handling, insurance, or performance of any moving company or other service provider. Any agreement for moving or related services is solely between you and the moving company or provider you choose.

4. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

You agree to provide information that is accurate, complete, and current, and to promptly correct information that becomes inaccurate. You represent that you are at least 18 years old and that you have the authority to provide and authorize contact at every phone number and email address you submit. You may not submit another person’s contact information unless you are authorized to do so.

5. CONTACT CONSENT

By submitting your information, you consent to be contacted by MoveAcrossStates, its team, or a moving company or partner to which your request may be referred, by phone call, text message, and email regarding moving services. You consent to contact using automated technology, including an automatic telephone dialing system or prerecorded messages, at the phone number and email address you provide. Message and data rates may apply, message frequency may vary, and consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe instructions in the email or by contacting us directly. Opting out of one channel may not opt you out of communications through other channels unless you request that it do so.

6. NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS

We do not guarantee that using the site will result in a quote, a booking, a particular price, a response, a move, or any other outcome. Any decision to engage a moving company, and any terms of that engagement, is your responsibility.

7. ACCEPTABLE USE

You may use the site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information; use a bot, script, crawler, or other automated means to access or collect from the site; scrape, copy, monitor, or systematically extract site content; resell, broker, or commercially exploit access to the site or its leads without written permission; interfere with the operation or security of the site; or use the site in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The site and its content, including its text, design, graphics, logos, layout, and software, are owned by or licensed to the operator and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except as expressly permitted by these terms or with our prior written permission, you may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, transmit, display, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit any part of the site or its content.

9. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND TOOLS

The site may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party tools and services. Those websites, tools, and services are provided by others and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control or endorse them and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, content, security, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator and its owners, employees, agents, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of property, profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the site or any moving service provider, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of the operator for all claims arising out of or relating to the site will not exceed the amount you paid, if any, to use the site during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some laws do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

12. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the operator and its owners, employees, agents, affiliates, and partners from and against any claims, demands, actions, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to your use of the site, your violation of these terms, your violation of any law or third-party right, or the accuracy and authorization of information you submit.

13. GOVERNING LAW AND VENUE

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which the operator is located, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the site will be brought in the courts located in that state.

14. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may change these terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated terms on this page and revise the effective date above. Your continued use of the site after updated terms are posted means that you accept the changes. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you must stop using the site.

15. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law and will be severed from these terms to the extent necessary. The remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
